Too disjointed to be really useful
It's a collection of separate articles by various authors. Some good information, but the book is too disjointed to be really useful. There is no index, making it difficult to quickly locate information on specific topics.
Spend your money elsewhere.
There are some interesting scripts, but you probably already have them or their equivalent. This "book" is really a collection of (magazine?) articles by different authors and thus suffers from a lack of focus and cohesion. If you can get your company to spring for it, it might be worth buying; if it's your money, there are better choices. Try Rik Farrows "Unix System Secuity: How to Protect Your Data and Prevent Intruders".
