Just what you need 
covers everything you need to know for the exam. Great book. Completed one chapter each day after reading the tutorials on the IBM site and gave the questions at the back. Wrote the exam on the 8th day and got 92%. Will definitely recommend the book .
A very good book for exam 700 
Other than that this book was an excellent choice to prepare for exam 700
. This book helped me to prepare for the exam well but I felt this book should have had some more information about UDT /UDF .

Lot of explanation in this book is written keeping in view of certification. A very good book for clearing the certification. But it is a very good book for even interviews also. Prior experience in DB2 would be a plus to enhance your understanding. The chapter on locks is very good and you would not forget the different locking scenarios after reading this book. I have cleared the exam with 80%. Be careful while answering the queries in exam, becoz most of the questions look alike as in the book but answer will not be the same as there is a slight difference in framing the question.
