I have suggestion for the readers of this book, that they should read concept guide to get know how to use the SQL tunning tools. This is very helpful, if you want to learn how to design a performance efficient system.
A good reference of db design
The guidlines are useful and easily understood for one who have certain Oracle development experience. Another great Kyte's book which is for database designer to learn how to design and build high performance db application. Intermediate level.
