Apologies for Any Errors
If you find an error, please send me an e-mail at tjepsen@mindspring. As editor of Java in Telecommunications, let me apologize for any errors in the code samples which the technical reviewers (including myself) may have overlooked in the production process.com, and I'll have corrections sent as soon as possible. The contributors and I would like your experience with Java In Telecommunications to be as rewarding as possible. Best Regards, Tom.
First Impressions
What drove me to write this review however, is that many of the Java code fragments detailed are incorrect. I haven't done anything more than open the cover and flick through yet, so I can't comment on the general content. In some cases, they won't compile, in others they just don't do what it is claimed that they do. The technical editor should really have done a better job of ensuring accuracy. If I can't trust the bits I do have expertise in, how can I trust the information on areas in which I don't?.
