Bad For a Beginning 
This book was written for someone how workes with Linux for two or three years tips for taking the LPI exam. I got interested in Linux a year ago and i consider my self a beginer. This book is not the best for begginers at all. In addition, many topics are out of date.
The topics are poorly organized ( for bigginers again ) have to read some information in page 200 to understand page 20. i don't recommend this book for any beginner.
Needs update badly
This book needs to be updated to reflect changes in the LPI exam since it's publication. Like many of the O'Reilley titles, this book has become dated and is much less useful than it might be.
This book is oriented to the first edition of the LPI exam. That exam has been history for quite some time--is there any plan to update this book?
Another problem with this book is it's over-wordy style. You have to work to extract the desired information, and if you're trying to prep for a challenging cert exam that is probably not what you want to spend your time doing. The Exam-Cram books, for example, are much more tightly focused on helping you pass the exam.
All in all, your money is best spent elsewhere.
THIS BOOK ITS OUT DATE. 
if you see the LPI page, you ll find that the lpi exam change a lot. If you think that with this book you going to pass the exam, you are wrong. USE THIS BOOK ONLY FOR BASIC LEARNING OF LINUX. im not sorry about buying this book, this book its great, but its REALLY OUT DATE.
