About what you would expect
It is very complete and the entire book is also included in the CD so its portable. All in all a good reference for XP, very handy to have around.
Reliability of the vendor and cost of the book
Also the book came with an e-book which I used on my dual monitor set up. The vendor surprised me in delivering the book in two days. It is fantastic to be able to read the e-book on one monitor and then the program on another.
Also the book was 1/2 the cost than Barns and Noble.
I would definately use this vendor again. He is a great asset to Amazon. com

Excellent Book clearly written
It is written by a professional writer who is experienced in presenting technical information for the not so technical person. This is an excellent book. By this, I mean you do not have to have a advanced computer technology degree to understand this book. Also, if you have been around any previous version of Windows and perhaps did some repairing or tinkering of the your operating system, then this book is written for you.
If, on the other hand, you only want to "operate the car" and not "look under the hood", then this is probably more than you need. If you do not enjoy tweaking Windows operating systems, then you may be better served by a good basic book on Windows XP, such as "Windows XP for Dummies". .
