Excellent for the Unix Newbie 
Supplemented by a nice book on the operating system you are using, this book will help you understand how to easily make full use of BASH's command-line mode. This book contains a quick reference to the commands to the Unix newbie.
To the other reader. . . . . BASH is Y2K compliant, but this is not the place to ask.
