ASP Components
The author continually switches between describing simple theories such as n-tier computing to an overly in-depth analysis Windows that no-one outside of Redmond should even care about. This book is a waste of money. Too much text and not enough examples.

Great Beginning Component book
I have been developing components now for 4 years and I still found this book useful. I found this book to be very useful. I have been trying to find a good book about developing components, especially in Visual C++. It has great examples for developing the asp page and connecting the page to the COM Object be it Visual Basic, Visual C++ or Java. A must have book for all. I emailed the author with a question and she email me right back.

Not worth the paper it's written on
. Not enough detail to teach anything of value.
